Match exposure and audio to the real deliverable
If stage lighting is stable, set exposure from the lit stage before the performance. If cues change, attend rehearsal or obtain the lighting sequence; automatic exposure and white balance are not automatically safe.
Noise management needs organizer support. If speech or music is central to delivery, plan dedicated capture and monitoring; an on-camera mic is only a case-specific compromise.
